Maleeha Hameed

Maleeha Hameed manages the RISE portfolio at the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP), Pakistan. Amongst multiple other studies, she is leading the implementation of the post-COVID Targeted Instruction in Pakistan (TIP) program and research study in over 1800 public primary schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). Her contribution to RISE dates to 2017 when she contributed to the launch of the LUMS School of Education, Pakistan and where she organized multiple policy roundtables, in collaboration with RISE, and led the school’s first donor-funded, government-led technical assistance project.

Maleeha holds a joint bachelor’s degree in economics and politics from LUMS. She aims to drive social impact through educational innovation at the intersection of policy, research, and practice.
