Jongwook Lee

Jongwook Lee is a postdoctoral researcher for the RISE Vietnam team at the University of Minnesota. He completed his PhD in Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota, focusing on health and educational issues in underprivileged population in low- and middle-income countries. He holds a MS in Statistics from the University of Chicago and bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology (Seoul National University), Economics (University of Maryland), and Mathematics (University of Maryland). He has worked on many global interdisciplinary research projects in Vietnam, Malawi, Bangladesh, the Czech Republic, Nepal, South Korea, and the United States. His research interests include issues in global health and health service accessibility, childhood education and human capital development, as well as poverty, equity, and quality of life.
