Shazmeneh Durrani is a Project Manager/Associate of the RISE Political Economy (Adoption) team. She is nearing the end of her Master’s degree in International Education Development at the Graduate School of Education, University of Pennsylvania, where she is specialising in education policy, institutional reform, and workforce development with a special focus on Pakistan. She has a BA (hons) in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from New York University. Her professional experience includes public school management, teacher professionalization, and curriculum development in Sindh, Pakistan. Before starting at RISE, she was leading one of Sindh Government’s public-private partnership projects for out-of-school children.
