RISE Seeks Partnerships Coordinator

RISE Partnerships Coordinator Role

Are you motivated by the opportunity to work with a dynamic research team who are trying to improve the quality of education for children around the world? Are you up for a challenging role that provides an opportunity to facilitate important research collaboration, and help develop an impactful research agenda? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

The Research on Improving Systems of Education (RISE) Programme, based at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford, is seeking a development professional with experience and interests at the intersection of development research and policy to join our team as the Partnerships Coordinator.

The postholder will work closely with the senior members of the RISE Programme, and other team members, to facilitate collaboration across researchers in RISE’s expansive network, build relationships with external researchers and development practitioners to RISE to expand the reach of RISE’s work, and identify and act on opportunities for RISE work to influence policy debates. You will also work closely with the RISE team to identify gaps in RISE research agenda.

The successful candidate will need significant work experience international development and global education, be familiar with issues in global education policy, and possess disciplinary research skills in a relevant field. You should have outstanding communication and organisational skills, with the ability to take initiative and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to demonstrate success navigating complex policy and stakeholder environments, and have exceptional relationship and networking judgement. A master’s degree in relevant field plus significant professional experience, or PhD plus substantial professional experience, is essential.
